Finish!!!!

The last stretch saw the remaining of us striving to finish up whatever we could.

It was a mad rush until I announced time's up...

Pants down...

Eh. Sorry. That's pen's down.

Here are more pictures!

4 hours to go.

Back after a 30 minute siesta.

But some guys can just keep going...

Fight!

People are starting to realize that time is really running short, and it was hard to complete the work.

But it's late in the night, we were tired and we got no entertainment.

So we took to staring at the walls.

We were, as you can tell, extremely bored.

We even had a running commentary from Raymond.

3rd one on the Honor's Roll!

Christine proudly presented her completed comic called 1:55 AM which was when she finished...

She's the third one after James and Andrew.

Settling in...

We got people who are settled in earnest in their drawings, or in their blocks. I'm one of the latter.

Sam's finally made the difference.

Poor JK's allergic to something.

Dinner!

Pasta dinner from our kind sponsors, "Food for Thought" arrived around 5:40pm.

A quick catch up with some artists by our in house video man (you can spot him by his TV Test Screen T-shirt) and we're back to work.

We found out that James has already finished his 24 pages and left!

Sonny doesn't look it, but he wasn't feeling too well.

Things are really crackin.

Outside, the sun blazed hot and bright, and in this room, more and more people are starting to do the pages proper.

Some of us are still making up the story as we go along. Many has finished their story boarding and working on the pages.

Outside, the reporter, Nick, interviews some of the women in this group. He was probably examining the trend as comics shifts from a domain primarily for men to one which women will take part as well.

Reporter in our midst.

We got someone taking pictures from the Press.

And our very own sit-in reporter who is covering the event for her school project.

We also have food for thought, kindly sponsored by "Food for Thought" and "School of Thought", a social enterprise.

And some comics for inspiration kindly sponsored by Kinokuniya and G&B Comics.

Its a quiet quiet room...

Everyone is engrossed:

Some are plotting.

Some are dreaming.

Some are doing their storyboards.

Some have already started on their second page.

This is what Sam, who doesn't have any art background, came up with:

1st page out!

Paul, the tarot reader finished his first page!

1st 24 Hour comic Day in Singapore!
